Finding time to sit down with a good book can be a challenge, especially for those climbing the career ladder. But what if you could absorb the wisdom of the world's most successful leaders while on the move? Audible makes this possible.

Take "Creativity, Inc." by Ed Catmull, for instance. It's not just a book; it's an expedition through the birth and growth of Pixar, offering invaluable insights into fostering a creative culture. Or consider "The Ride of a Lifetime" by Robert Iger, which is like a master class in leadership from one of the most successful CEOs in the entertainment industry. After reading Creativty Inc. I was left with the realization that leadership might require significant shifts in style and delivery depending on the team I was overseeing. This book had a huge impact on me at a time when I was new to management and working hard to succeed at managing a group of people, most of whom were new to structured employment.

Bob Iger is probably one of my all-time biggest inspirations. Bob rose from the production room at ABC to CEO of the Walt Disney Company a multi-national empire. His stories are both human and profound. The day they opened the biggest endeavor of his career ‘Disneyland Shanghai’ an alligator dragged a 2-year-old toddler to his death in a small lake on one of Disney World Orlando’s hotel properties. Talk about challenges! Bob often inspires me to ask myself: What is the difference between the CEO of a company that employs 40 people and the CEO at the helm of a company like Disney or Microsoft?
